About

Josh Iacovelli is the guy you turn to for imagination, charisma and dedication. And a belly laugh.

Josh started his career as an actor and director - his first credit as an actor was in elementary school. It was in the Philadelphia area where he started performing with other young talent and focusing on bringing youth together around a force for good and the stage.

When he attended Stockton University he majored in theatre and refined his craft of acting and directing. Major roles included the Gentleman Caller in the Glass Menagerie, Caliban in The Tempest, among others. He also directed Little Shop of Horrors and was asked to bring the show to Atlantic City.

After Stockton, Josh worked at Rowan University as an outreach coordinator for the Center of Arts. He directed The Good Doctor, Romeo & Juliet and Trojan Women.

It wasn’t until Josh attended The Actors Studio Drama School at New School University in New York City did he realize his love of behind the scenes, moving from the stage to stage management, lighting design, scenic design and production.

Current running shows include The Office! A Musical Parody directed by Donald Garverick, Buried Child directed by Jack Bathke and Friends the Musical Parody Las Vegas Residency directed by Paul Stancato. Favorite design credits include Missed Connections directed by Phillip George, The Zero Hour directed by Piper Laurie, Hit Her with the Skates directed by Michael Schiralli, Disaster the Musical directed by Jack Plotnick and The Babies directed by Lloyd J. Schwartz.

Josh designed several projects with the Amas Musical Theatre and The Storm Theatre Co. in NYC. Selected stage management credits include long-running Off-Broadway hits such as Danny and Sylvia, The Danny Kaye Musical, Cougar the Musical, Sistas the Musical and It's Just Sex.

Josh also has worked in television for the last 15 years, as a field producer, associate producer, art director and production designer.
